The Access to Information Policy is a tool as approved by the CRAN’s Board. It aims to proactive disclose of information, as well as establish mandatory procedures that enable individuals to access records or information held by CRAN in a timely, affordable, and efficient manner.
In addition, it promotes transparency, accountability, good governance and the safeguarding of personal information, ensuring its protection and privacy within our custody.
Who can request for information?
Any member of the public including individuals, organisations, or entities both within and outside Namibia may request information held by CRAN. Requests for information can either be made online, in writing or verbally at our offices.
Access to Information Division Team
- Executive: Communication and Consumer Relations appointed as Information Officer
- Manager: Access to Information appointed as Deputy Information Officer and
- Practitioner: Access to Information.
